Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We had take away lunch there, they have weekly lunch menu to take away. Package was really good, we had the main course with salad and soup. It was vegetarian, you can see their weekly menu on their Instagram, we had the meal from the Friday 16.04. The food was overall very good, tasty, good mix of texture. Staff was not totally on point to describe the menu. We asked what soup was that, she replied “vegetable soup”, which vegetable would be more useful. The menu, plus soup and salad and a drink was 32.-"
"Our meal at Loscher was an unexpected delight! Matt, our charming waiter, chose our dishes and each and every one was a roaring success - the presentation, the combination of flavors -every dish was a sensory experience. This was one of the best meals we have had, and certainly the best we've had in Switzerland. We cannot recommend Loscher enough! It was such a wonderful meal that we are going to do a repeat tomorrow! Three sisters from Brooklyn, NY"
"very nice cosy/industrial feeling. Food looked good but we couldn’t taste it (yet). we called and they said the could not take reservation, so we we decided we’d give it a shot, but when we got there they were in fact they were all booked (they could’ve said it in the first place?!). will definitely try again !"
"MUST VISIT I was in town for 1 night and a good friend took me there. It was, hands down, the best food I had in my whole trip to Switzerland. No matter if you are vegan or flexitarian, these food magicians will make your visit to Bern an unforgettable experience!"
"Natural wine. 2 orange wines by the glass. Matassa wine is flawed, has mouse and volatile. Decent terrace, but it's on a busy street."
"Absolutely cool concept to share food with your friends: 5 cold, 5 warm dishes and 3 desserts are optimal for 4 people. Very good food, super twists and lovely service!"
"I was in this place in October 2023. It is very interesting, unusual and popular Cafe. Really advice to visit it."
"No wait, great setting, great service. Decent food."
